Animal Relief Fund for a Shelter

NOTE:

Our grant money and donations to the spay/neuter fund have been reduced this year. As a

result, we have had to change our policy on spay/neuter eligibility as of November 2007. We

will continue to request that fund is used for those with financial need and we will also be

restricting them to Mills County residents only. There will also be a maximum of 2 spay and

neuter coupons per household that will be allowed per year.

ARFS is in desperate need of YOUR help...
We need your donations to continue offering our co-pay help to spay and neuter animals.
This program is for people who would not otherwise be able to afford spay/neuter services.
(this does not mean that you receive a certificate- just that you are helping us to help others spay and neuter their pets)

RESTART OF SPAY / NEUTER PROGRAM – JULY 1, 2007

The Spay / Neuter program is rolling again!  Its purpose is to assist people with financial needs with the cost of altering their pet.

We have had to secure new grant sources and raise money through donations to keep this program going for our community.  Due to grant requirements, we have changed the format of our program.

Instead of a co-pay system, we have changed to a discount coupon program.  A $50.00 discount coupon may be purchased from ARFS for $10.00.  These coupons are currently honored by the vet clinics listed below and this list will be growing in the future.

Here’s how it works for those needing assistance:-

Present this coupon at the time of the surgery and it will be deducted from your bill and ARFS will be billed for the $50.

We wish to thank Miccio Foundation of Iowa for helping to fund this program.  We count on public donations and grants to keep this much needed program going.  ARFS has assisted with the cost of altering almost 900 animals in our community over the past several years.  You may help with this cause by going to our website and making your donation through PayPal.  http://arfsofiowa.org/   You may also make a donation by mailing your check to ARFS – Donations, Box 571, Glenwood, IA., 51534 or donate at Glenwood State Bank.
