RESTART OF SPAY / NEUTER PROGRAM – JULY 1, 2007

The Spay / Neuter program is rolling again!  Its purpose is to assist people with financial needs with the cost of altering their pet.

We have had to secure new grant sources and raise money through donations to keep this program going for our community.  Due to grant requirements, we have changed the format of our program.

Instead of a co-pay system, we have changed to a discount coupon program.  A $50.00 discount coupon may be purchased from ARFS for $10.00.  These coupons are currently honored by the vet clinics listed below and this list will be growing in the future.

Here’s how it works for those needing assistance:-

• Mail your $10.00 check to ARFS – Spay/Neuter Program, Box 571, Glenwood, Ia., 51534 and include a self-addressed and stamped envelope.  Please include your name, address, telephone number and email address (if possible).
• Allow 10 days to receive your coupon.  They are only available by mail.
• This coupon is not transferable to another individual.
• Photocopies are not accepted.
• Must be used within 90 days of issue.
• Only one coupon per pet will be accepted.

Present this coupon at the time of the surgery and it will be deducted from your bill and ARFS will be billed for the $50.
